The Whipple Library is based in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambrdidge. Its special collections cover history of astronomy, natural history, medicine, scientific instruments, phrenology and many other subjects. The aim of this blog is to showcase items in these collections and explore issues raised by them.
